Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Belfast to join the CIS team powered by Hubexo. This role offers genuine new business development where you will be in charge of creating and managing your own sales pipeline, from initial contact through to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business prospects through active prospecting.
- Construct and manage a robust and healthy sales pipeline.
- Engage with senior decision makers within the construction market.
- Determine client priorities and demonstrate the value of CIS project intelligence solutions.
- Qualify new opportunities and keep the sales process progressing effectively.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact to closing and winning customers.
- Maintain accurate records and next-step actions in the CRM system.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven history in B2B new business sales with a proactive approach to generating opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads. Confidence in initiating cold outreach and building trust with senior-level clients is essential. Experience qualifying sales opportunities and driving them to successful outcomes is required.
Previous experience within SaaS, data, market intelligence, or construction sectors is beneficial but not a prerequisite; strong transferable new business sales skills are prioritized.
Compensation and Work Arrangements
- Competitive base salary with an on-target earning (OTE) of £55,000 in the first year and £70,000 by the second year.
- Uncapped commission structure to reward successful sales growth.
- Work schedule includes three days weekly onsite at the Belfast hub and two days working remotely from home.
Recruitment Process
Applicants will be invited to complete a 45-minute sales assessment designed to evaluate selling approaches in conjunction with prior experiences before proceeding to an interview stage.
