About the Role
Join Glenigan powered by Hubexo as a Business Development Manager based in Bournemouth, with a hybrid work pattern requiring three days onsite at the Holdenhurst Road office and two days working from home. This role focuses on driving new business by offering construction intelligence solutions to help customers secure more contracts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through proactive outreach.
- Understand clients' strategies for winning work and their growth objectives through insightful questioning.
- Showcase how Glenigan's construction intelligence can assist clients in discovering relevant projects and key contacts.
- Manage the sales process end-to-end, including proposal development, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts using HubSpot CRM.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates may currently be in a business development or sales executive role or have relevant sales experience. The emphasis is on the ability to generate opportunities, comprehend customer requirements, address objections, and consistently secure new business. Efficient pipeline management, results ownership, and a willingness to leverage coaching for improvement are essential. While experience in construction, SaaS, or business intelligence sectors is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.
- On-target earnings (OTE) of £56,500 in the first year, rising to £70,300 in the second year.
