Role Overview
The Growth and Business team at Apnatime holds responsibility for driving user acquisition and revenue growth across all client and candidate business segments. Achieving market leadership within 18 months post-launch, this team leverages multiple strategic levers such as marketing, sales, optimization techniques, product enhancements, and partnerships, alongside tactical considerations of resource allocation and cost trade-offs. They are expanding their team to support a new phase of swift business and product expansion.
The role of Business Development Manager involves thriving in a fast-paced sales cycle, conducting high-level business discussions with C-suite executives, and working independently to dominate enterprise sales. A primary goal is to meet aggressive objectives concerning new customer acquisition and revenue enhancement for enterprise recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and sell online enterprise recruitment products tailored to corporate client needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by attracting new clients and expanding business from current accounts.
- Build and maintain a qualified leads database via referrals, tele-calling, social media engagement, and other methods.
- Conduct area mapping and prospecting activities, negotiate terms and contracts, finalize commercial agreements, and close deals with proper documentation.
- Continuously prospect and establish strong personal relationships with potential clients.
- Advocate strongly for Apnatime’s suite of products and services.
- Contribute as a pioneering member of this growing startup, leading within the area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience managing major accounts, preferably within the HR technology sector.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, handling client relationships confidently and effectively at senior organizational levels.
- Sound commercial acumen coupled with operational insight to successfully negotiate client contracts.
- Proficient communication skills in at least two languages.
- Proven track record from lead generation through to closure of sales.
Compensation
This position offers a monthly remuneration ranging between 40,000 and 70,000 INR.
