Business Development Executive / Manager

Overview

Azeus Convene is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive or Manager to be a part of their expanding sales team. This role focuses on promoting their board management and meeting collaboration software, which is trusted by clients in over 100 countries and recognized globally for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new market opportunities within a designated territory.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitors to devise effective business strategies.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with corporate decision-makers and partners, identify new business prospects, and negotiate and finalize deals.
• Lead pre-sales efforts such as product demonstrations, bid preparation assistance, pricing support, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
• Manage the sales pipeline diligently using CRM tools and pursue prospective leads.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, including travel when necessary.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients, including C-suite executives.
• Regularly report sales progress and opportunities to senior management.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in software, technology, or SaaS sectors selling to executives.
• Proficient in delivering product demonstrations and engaging high-level client stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate across different organizational levels effectively.
• Good commercial insight into mobile, digital, cloud, and SaaS technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required; an MBA will be considered advantageous.
