Job Overview
The Business Development Executive will focus on achieving individual operating income goals by managing client interactions and sales activities effectively. This role requires close follow-up on sent quotations and coordination with finance to maintain receivables within agreed terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet personal targets for Operating Income consistently.
- Send quotations to clients promptly and maintain rigorous follow-up.
- Create a weekly sales visit plan and record visit details within the company's sales system.
- Ensure all credit clients managed have approved credit limits.
- Support the Finance team in maintaining receivables from credit accounts under agreed timelines.
- Transfer sales leads actively within the GAC sales teams domestically, internationally, and with associated agents.
- Convert potential sales leads into actual business opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented with the ability to operate independently and collaborate cross-functionally with operations and solutions teams.
- Sound understanding of 3PL business models, including warehousing, distribution operations, value-added services, and preferably experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related technologies.
- Proven B2B and B2C sales experience; having an existing network of clients such as importers, e-commerce businesses, manufacturers, or distributors is a significant asset.
- Experienced in lead generation and managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure while consistently achieving sales targets.
- 3 to 5 years of experience specifically in business development roles.
- Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- A well-established client base is considered an additional advantage.
