Job description
Position Overview
This role is centered on managing and supporting the Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives for BNP Paribas locations in Singapore and across South-east Asia.
Typical Daily Activities
The position requires collaboration with various business units to understand their continuity needs, working closely with the Crisis Management Team during emergencies, and effectively communicating group and regulatory BCM requirements to both front and back office teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the BCM team within the Organisation and Control division.
- Deploy the Group BCM program in Singapore and SEA in compliance with BNP Paribas Group and regulatory BCM policies and standards.
- Maintain business continuity governance through the BC Steering Committee in the Singapore territory.
- Support the Crisis Management Committee during crisis situations.
- Offer expert guidance on BCM methodology, planning, testing, and governance for SEA locations.
- Oversee adherence to BCM compliance requirements throughout SEA sites.
- Serve as the primary contact for implementing BCM tools and methodologies across SEA.
- Ensure business recovery solutions are effectively implemented and tested at regular intervals.
Additional Contributions
- Engage in the assessment, testing, and deployment of BCM documentation and crisis management systems.
- Participate in enhancing the Permanent Control framework.
