Job description
Job Overview and Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Analytics or related fields such as Data Analytics, Strategy Analytics, or Growth Analytics. The ideal candidate should demonstrate robust expertise in SQL and proficiency in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience with business intelligence platforms including Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, or equivalents is required. Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and structured thinking are essential to effectively interpret data and provide actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex data sets into clear, strategic recommendations for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders within a fast-paced operational landscape.
- Incorporate generative AI tools into analytics processes to enhance workflows.
Experience and Knowledge
- Background in sectors like e-commerce, marketplaces, quick commerce, retail, fintech, or consumer technology.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with designing and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation.
- Understanding of key business metrics including customer lifecycle, marketing strategies, pricing models, retention efforts, churn rates, and unit economics.
