Role Overview
The Business Advisory Associate will primarily engage in the labelling process that entails reviewing and annotating bug reports by assigning predefined labels to categorize various issue types. The role demands the application of judgment, extensive product knowledge, and adherence to a structured labelling taxonomy and decision trees to ensure precision and reduce misinterpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply precise labels to user-submitted issues using product insight and judgement.
- Utilize structured taxonomies and decision trees to maintain high-quality, consistent annotations and limit ambiguity.
- Annotate bug reports aiming for a labelling accuracy rate of at least 95%.
- Clarify and appropriately categorize unclear or ambiguous reports using subject matter expertise.
- Identify and report exceptional cases or areas lacking clear labels to Product Operations Managers to refine taxonomies and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment with clear instructions, contributing individually within a defined scope.
- Execute daily tasks guided by detailed to moderate instructions, with detailed guidance on new assignments.
- Handle typical problem-solving tasks by following precedents and general guidelines.
- Potentially participate in rotational shift schedules as required by the role.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 1 to 3 years of experience in technical product labeling or operational roles.
- Demonstrate C1 level proficiency in English according to CEFR standards.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and capability to follow standard operating procedures thoroughly.
- Show adaptability in managing evolving guidelines, protocols, and instruction changes, ensuring error-free completion of complex tasks within stipulated timelines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that aid collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with issue tracking systems like Jira or ServiceNow and experience with labeling or annotation interfaces.
