Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Bus Captain is to manage passenger boarding and ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the boarding process by welcoming passengers onto the bus and ensuring they find their designated seats promptly.
• Arrive punctually at the assigned bus boarding location and assist with passenger seating.
• Maintain a daily checklist to confirm that all promised facilities and amenities on the bus are available and functioning.
• Contact passengers who are late to help them reach the boarding point on time.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to address issues and continuously improve the overall passenger experience.
• Handle spot ticket bookings and maintain accurate daily records of these transactions.
• Accompany the bus during the journey, which typically involves travel times ranging from 8 to 14 hours, including return travel the following day.
• Provide assistance to passengers regarding their needs and ensure all promised amenities are delivered during the trip.
• Communicate with customers during and after the journey to collect ratings and reviews to assess service quality.
