Role Overview
We are seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to join our rapidly expanding team, contributing to the upkeep and smooth operation of our facilities by supporting repair, maintenance, and organizational tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Duties
- Perform various repair tasks including fixing doors, patching drywall, addressing leaks, installing or replacing light fixtures, and painting surfaces.
- Carry out routine inspections to detect issues affecting plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and building structures.
- Assist with assembling furniture, installing shelving units, and troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment adhering to safety guidelines.
- Respond to repair requests promptly, documenting the completion of maintenance activities.
- Help manage inventory by organizing tools, parts, and supplies essential for maintenance operations.
- Support senior technicians on more complex projects, gaining hands-on experience and applying best practices.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- Basic proficiency in repairs involving plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Comfort and skill in operating manual and power tools such as drills, saws, and wrenches.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance problems.

- Flexibility to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with variable hours based on operational demands.
