Role Overview
Are you proactive and passionate about e-commerce with a desire to grow your retail capabilities and influence how leading brands collaborate with Amazon? Join the AVS team as a Brand Specialist managing complete vendor partnerships for top strategic brands on Amazon Now, Amazon's quick commerce service. This position demands fast-paced and operational vigilance that surpasses standard vendor management roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact overseeing end-to-end vendor relationships.
- Urgently address live supply chain and receiving issues working closely with Operations teams.
- Create and execute combined business strategies relating to product selection, availability, website traffic, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with internal departments to prioritize initiatives, manage event rollouts, and meet operational objectives.
- Continuously monitor performance data to boost the quality of the AVS experience and attain targets.
- Participate in ongoing improvement and innovation efforts throughout the MENA region's AVS platform.
Focus Areas
- Business consultancy with financial analysis to uncover opportunities.
- Product selection including new launches and visibility enhancements.
- Operational excellence focusing on supply chain problem resolution.
- Support marketing campaigns and merchandising efforts to drive traffic.
- Promotional strategies and optimizing the customer journey to increase conversion.
Candidate Profile
- Thrives in environments with daily operational complexity and uncertainty.
- Strong communicator who takes full ownership and proactively resolves issues.
- Analytical mindset with action-orientation and ability to finalize tasks independently.
- Experience in FMCG, fresh food, grocery sectors, or quick commerce is highly advantageous.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree qualification.
- Fluency in English at C1 level or higher in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Proficient in SQL or similar analytical tools for data analysis.
- More than 2 years' experience in account management, project or program management, or procurement.
- Proven ability working in cross-functional or client-facing roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process enhancement.
- Handling and analyzing large data sets.
