OTR Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of your team by enforcing Amazon's Health and Safety standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges.
• Maintain high process quality standards in line with Amazon's expectations.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and related procedures.
• Work towards process improvements and efficiencies.
• Share and promote best practices across teams and network.
• Manage OTR metrics by supervising ground operations and ensuring compliance.
• Conduct safety audits for station vehicles.
• Facilitate onboarding procedures with external contractors.
• Analyze OTR metrics issues and collaborate with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and stakeholders to devise solutions.
• Administer incentive management programs.
• Perform uniform audits and inventory control.
• Communicate daily operations with DSP points of contact and escalate issues as necessary.
• Handle day-to-day callouts related to DSP Delivery Associates.
• Coordinate and monitor DAY0 attendance.
• Enhance the experience for DSPs and Delivery Associates.
• Gather and streamline DSP feedback to improve procedures and implement solutions.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Availability for 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
• Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with experience delivering training sessions and preparing accompanying materials.
• Background in data analytics, designing queries, and data warehouse reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday, or demonstrated ability to lead improvements in finance or business processes through automation and standardization.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, logistics, urban design, or management information systems is advantageous.
