BIM Specialist/Modeler - Electrical Construction

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled BIM Specialist Modeler focused on electrical construction projects. This role involves working within a dynamic team that emphasizes innovation, quality, and collaboration, contributing to commercial construction endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain detailed electrical BIM models throughout the construction phases.
• Conduct constructability evaluations and identify clashes utilizing Navisworks software.
• Engage with project teams in weekly BIM coordination meetings to ensure alignment.
• Prepare quantity measurements and contribute to project documentation efforts.
• Maintain and update BIM models, oversee file exchanges, and manage milestone submissions.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and on-site personnel to achieve coordinated model delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial electrical construction environments.
• At least one year of experience working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies.
• One year or more of 3D modeling expertise.
• Associates degree in CAD, drafting, or a comparable discipline is preferred.
• Proficient in the following tools:
  • Revit
  • AutoCAD MEP
  • Navisworks Manage
  • Bluebeam Revu
  • Microsoft Office suite
