Role Summary
The BIM Specialist position is responsible for advancing design coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery through expert Building Information Modeling (BIM) leadership. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive BIM experience to ensure quality, productivity, and adherence to project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate independently within project guidelines and company standards.
- Lead and supervise BIM teams, ensuring efficient task assignment, performance monitoring, and providing necessary technical support.
- Deliver thorough training to design personnel on BIM systems, fostering proficiency in 3D modeling, project specifications, and managing content effectively.
- Support projects directly by ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with timelines and project requirements.
- Coordinate BIM activities across multiple disciplines, facilitating effective collaboration among design, engineering, and project groups.
- Create detailed drawings following industry standards, accurately placing architectural elements like doors and lighting fixtures.
- Review BIM models and deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM best practices, system improvements, and emerging technology trends.
- Exhibit strong leadership, team coordination, problem-solving abilities, and effectively manage priorities under challenging deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
- At least 10 years of relevant BIM experience in design coordination and multidisciplinary project execution.
Additional Information
