Role Overview
We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our expanding BIM team in Dublin or Limerick. This role involves managing BIM models throughout design, construction, and handover phases, including project setup, model creation, asset information integration, quality assurance, clash detection, and coordination. The coordinator will support BIM Leads in implementing project requirements for high voltage and substation BIM projects following ISO 19650 standards, while promoting the development and improvement of BIM procedures within H&MV.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating BIM Execution Plans and delivering client information requirements effectively.
- Manage and drive the establishment of BIM project environments.
- Support creation and maintenance of BIM Project Execution Plans.
- Perform frequent BIM model quality audits.
- Coordinate periodic BIM model review sessions.
- Create and oversee quality control of BIM content.
- Assist with general BIM modeling tasks, including updates and corrections.
- Participate in developing and enforcing BIM standards and workflows.
- Train and supervise Revit users to comply with BIM standards.
- Conduct internal training and provide continuous BIM support.
- Educate company teams on technical BIM best practices.
- Organize regular coordination calls with engineers and stakeholders to align on BIM progress and resolve issues.
- Engage in client meetings to confirm BIM requirements and ensure alignment throughout project phases.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
- Fluent in English at C1 level or higher.
- Preferably 4-5 years of experience managing BIM projects aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
- Advanced user of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC/Forma, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong expertise in Revit modeling, with familiarity in other BIM software considered an advantage.
- Thorough understanding of 3D modeling principles and moderate experience with model management.
- Knowledgeable in ISO 19650-1/2 standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and teamwork capabilities.
- Effective communicator with proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized work style.
