Billing Executive - Jewellery

Overview

We are hiring a Billing Executive for our jewellery retail operations in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Suitable candidates will handle billing, invoicing, payments, and maintain accurate transaction records within the jewellery sector. Freshers with accounting or computer knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing procedures, including invoices, receipts, and payments related to jewellery sales.
• Prepare customer bills while validating product specifications such as weight, purity, making charges, and applying correct discounts.
• Process various payment methods including cash, card, and UPI transactions efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive daily records of billing and other financial transactions.
• Collaborate effectively with sales, accounting, and inventory departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Enter billing data accurately and ensure all documentation complies with company policies.
• Address and resolve customer billing inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere strictly to company’s billing guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in jewellery or retail billing, though fresher applicants with fundamental accounting or computer skills are welcome.
• Familiarity with Tally or POS software and proficiency in MS Excel is advantageous.
• Strong numerical aptitude coupled with effective communication abilities.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing operations.
• Professional appearance, responsible attitude, and a customer-friendly approach.
