Role Summary

The position involves managing various billing and cashier duties in a retail jewellery environment, ensuring precise cash handling and maintaining effective coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer billing transactions in line with company procedures.
• Handle cash, count it carefully, and manage other payment forms correctly.
• Accept payments via cash, cards, UPI, and other approved methods, making sure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Generate invoices, receipts, and related billing documents with attention to detail.
• Verify product details, quantities, prices, any discounts, and payment data before finalizing bills.
• Provide assistance to customers regarding billing questions and payment information clearly.
• Perform daily reconciliations of all payment types against system records.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all billing activities including receipts, cancellations, and returns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounts, Inventory, and Showroom Management teams for smooth operation of billing functions.
• Adhere to company policies on billing, cash handling, security measures, and internal controls.
