Role Summary and Key Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for billing related to consumer products and services. The incumbent will need to comprehend requirements thoroughly, devise detailed testing scenarios, execute UAT efficiently within timelines, and document findings comprehensively. Ensuring quality control and adherence to process integrity during system enhancements or new scheme implementations is essential. Furthermore, the candidate will act as a coordinator with vendors, particularly the outsourced TMO team.

• Lead UAT and implementation efforts for new or modified consumer billing products.
• Collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, engineering, and IS departments to finalize and clarify billing requirements, and educate stakeholders on related processes.
• Create comprehensive test plans defining acceptance criteria and test cases before commencing testing.
• Carry out thorough UAT and ensure timely completion.
• Log and communicate defects to IS, following up to resolution.
• Document and update all test outcomes and reference materials promptly.
• Monitor testing progress and regularly inform management of developments.
• Prepare handover briefings for operations teams to assure seamless transitions pre-launch.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for billing, providing post-implementation support and addressing production issues.
• Continuously review and refine processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives by contributing to automation projects using tools such as RPA, Power Automate, Python, and Macros.
• Conduct training sessions for team members and reporting staff to support succession planning.
• Address operational irregularities swiftly with appropriate escalation when necessary.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile and Skill Requirements

• Diploma holder, preferably in a computing-related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of practical experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with solid competency in other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical capabilities, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and adept at problem-solving.
• Proactive, collaborative, and effective within team environments.
