About the Role
Join Singtel and be part of a visionary team leading the digital transformation and security architecture across the Group. This role focuses on defining security strategies and embedding secure-by-design principles in line with the Group’s enterprise architecture and business objectives. You will lead the development of security frameworks, guardrails, and reference architectures while steering advanced technology adoption with a focus on resilience and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Group Security Architecture Vision and roadmap aligned with enterprise strategies.
- Identify emerging technology trends and craft secure design principles such as zero-trust models.
- Collaborate in establishing Security Guardrails and maintain Security Reference Architecture for core technology domains.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and translate architectures into implementable guidance.
- Facilitate Group-wide alignment of security technology stacks, encouraging consistency and interoperability.
- Lead forums to synchronize deployment strategies and promote shared services across operating companies.
- Engage in assessment and pilot programs for cutting-edge technologies including AI, quantum computing, and deepfake detection.
- Represent cyber security perspectives within the Group Architecture Review Board and oversee governance processes.
- Provide design assurance and advisory to strategic programs, fostering security adherence among subsidiaries.
- Assist in budgeting and resource planning for cyber programs linked to emerging technologies.
- Work collaboratively with enterprise and subsidiary teams to align cybersecurity initiatives and promote awareness.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- 10–15 years experience in enterprise/security architecture with minimum 5 years in large scale or group-level governance roles.
- Proven expertise in delivering major cybersecurity projects and designing architecture frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance requirements.
- Experience with security architecture frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, zero-trust models, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong insights into telco, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments.
- Familiarity with advanced security challenges and defenses in AI and quantum computing spheres.
- Preferred certifications include SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to influence at all levels.
- Ability to manage complex decision-making in dynamic, high-pressure contexts within multi-subsidiary settings.
