About the Role
This role entails managing the comprehensive bid lifecycle within the business services sector, ensuring submissions meet client expectations and deadlines with high standards. The Bid Manager will operate in a dynamic environment focusing on tailored service delivery and strategic proposal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete bid process from initial briefing through to submission.
- Work closely with different internal departments to collect necessary content for proposals.
- Guarantee adherence to client specifications and timing requirements for all bid submissions.
- Maintain and update a repository of bid templates and relevant case studies.
- Lead discussions to establish winning strategies and value propositions customized to each bid.
- Proofread and refine bid documents ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.
- Monitor bid results and provide detailed feedback to foster continuous process improvements.
- Keep abreast with market trends and competitor movements to fine-tune bid strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses between three to five or more years of experience in bid management roles.
- Understands the complexities tied to public sector bidding procedures.
- Exemplifies strong organisation and project coordination capabilities.
- Communicates effectively through clear written and spoken means.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail aiming for excellence in deliverables.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software applications.
- Familiar with tendering frameworks and compliance measures.
