BI Developer/Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a BI Developer/Consultant to join our team onsite in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position requires 4 to 6 years of experience in delivering end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization, and deployment. Candidates must be fluent in Arabic to fulfill communication needs with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive BI solutions covering data modeling, dashboard creation, and final deployment stages.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports, going beyond simple report generation to full consulting involvement.
• Optimize SQL queries, create stored procedures, and manage complex joins for efficient data retrieval.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines to support analytical layers within BI platforms.
• Leverage advanced calculation languages such as DAX particularly for Power BI environments.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Expert-level competency in at least one leading BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Advanced experience in data modeling techniques, including star schemas and dimensional modeling.
• Strong SQL expertise with focus on query tuning and complex database operations.
• Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Fluent Arabic language skills for effective stakeholder communication.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with unified analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience working with Python or R to supplement BI with advanced analytics.
• Capability to present BI findings to executive and C-level audiences.
• Domain knowledge in operations, logistics, parking systems, or municipal data management.
• Understanding of data governance principles including row-level security implementations.
• Consulting experience involving client-facing roles, project scoping, and managing stakeholder expectations.
