Role Overview
We invite an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. In this capacity, you will conduct behavioural assessments, craft comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions across various settings including clinics, homes, communities, and schools. This role engages with children, adolescents, and adults facing complex behavioural needs, collaborating closely with families, carers, support coordinators, and other stakeholders to enhance quality of life and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed behavioural support assessments.
- Design and develop high-quality Behaviour Support Plans.
- Administer evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions.
- Deliver support services in clinical, home, community, and educational settings.
- Work with clients of various ages experiencing complex needs.
- Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and allied professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Hold current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Core level or higher.
- Demonstrate experience in Behaviour Support Practitioner roles or comparable behavioural support positions.
- Possess strong familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.
- Skilled in conducting behavioural assessments and developing tailored Behaviour Support Plans.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to function autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain a calm, patient, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Show genuine dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.
