Job Overview

This position involves serving both food and beverages to guests at the designated workplace while providing courteous, professional, and efficient service that aligns with Kempinski Hotels' high standards to maximize guest satisfaction and encourage sales.

Core Responsibilities

• Arrive punctually for duty, dressed in the proper uniform, which includes a well-kept and pressed outfit, appropriate polished shoes, and a visible nametag, complying with Kempinski's grooming and dress code standards.
• Offer courteous, professional, and efficient service at all times.
• Carry out all assigned tasks and duties specific to the outlet.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's full range of services and products.
• Understand in detail the food and beverage offerings within your assigned department.
• Utilize this knowledge to explain menu items clearly and perform upselling, including recommending alternative options to guests.
• Manage inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment to minimize wastage and spoilage effectively.
• Keep the work area and surroundings clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Execute opening and closing procedures for the outlet as outlined by hotel policies.
• Respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and efficiency; escalate any complaints or feedback promptly to supervisors.
• Follow up on guest complaints to ensure proper resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Operate the POS system competently as per training and assigned responsibilities within the department.
• Adhere strictly to hotel policies regarding fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues in the department and across the hotel.
