Barista

Job Overview

This is a full-time barista position offering $17.00 per hour. The role requires working 30 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment, with tasks related to food preparation, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and serving areas. No formal education or prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Set tables by bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to the service area
• Load buspans and trays efficiently
• Package take-out food orders carefully
• Portion and wrap food items as required
• Restock refrigerators and salad bars regularly
• Take customer orders accurately and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across kitchen and work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• Deliver high-quality customer service consistently

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

• Basic computer literacy including word processing, internet use, and database software
• Own transportation is necessary for commuting
