Barista & Catering Assistant

About the Role

Compass Group Ireland is looking to hire a dedicated Barista & Catering Assistant for a full-time position based in Dublin. This role combines crafting expertly made beverages with preparing and serving a variety of fresh food items, all while providing outstanding customer service. The position requires working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, expertly blended drinks and serve fresh food items that meet customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present hot and cold deli options including sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
• Set up, maintain, and ensure cleanliness and visual appeal of bar and deli counters.
• Deliver efficient and friendly customer service while handling cash and card payments responsibly.
• Manage inventory of clean dishware, mugs, and deli supplies.
• Acquire knowledge of brewing processes, beverage blends, and food presentation techniques.
• Conduct checks on brewing equipment functionality and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene, allergen controls, health and safety, and cleanliness protocols.
• Support team members as needed to maintain smooth daily operations.

• Previous experience in customer service, deli, or catering roles preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong dependability, punctuality, and reliability.
• Proficient spoken English communication skills.
