Barista

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Barista to join a major High Street coffee brand on a full-time basis, working a 35-hour contract. The Barista role involves crafting exceptional drinks and providing top-tier customer service, within a company that values individual talents, offers progression, and rewards outstanding performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create perfectly blended beverages and serve high-quality food to delight customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area consistently.
• Handle payment transactions including cash and credit cards accurately.
• Participate enthusiastically as part of the team and communicate effectively.
• Ensure stock levels of clean mugs and plates are maintained.
• Gain knowledge of brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Check the functionality of brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Represent the brand positively and professionally.
• Adhere to Food Handling and Hygiene standards rigorously.
• Follow all Health and Safety regulations diligently.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Previous experience in customer service roles preferred.
• Motivated to achieve excellence and proactive in approach.
• Capable of taking initiative and informed decision-making to benefit customers.
• Practical experience operating brewing equipment.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong punctuality and dependability.
