Barista

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Barista to join a prominent High Street coffee brand on a full-time basis, contracted for 35 hours each week. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages and deliver exceptional customer service, with opportunities for personal growth within a supportive company that values individuality and rewards outstanding contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare expertly blended drinks and serve delicious food items that satisfy customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the barista station throughout shifts.
• Handle payment transactions including cash and card payments efficiently.
• Collaborate enthusiastically with team members and communicate effectively.
• Keep stock of clean cups and plates ready for service.
• Acquire knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage recipes, and food presentation.
• Ensure brewing equipment functions correctly and promptly report any maintenance requirements.
• Uphold the brand image by representing Costa positively to all customers.
• Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations in the workplace.
