What to Expect in the Role
This role does not require previous experience, but a genuine passion for customer satisfaction is essential. Working as a barista involves creating authentic customer connections and handcrafting delicious beverages that brighten their day.
No day is the same and typical duties include:
- Consistently preparing quality beverages, whole bean, and food items aligned with recipe and presentation standards
- Assisting with store opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring safety and security
- Collaborating with team members to manage busy periods effectively
- Anticipating customer and store requirements by familiarizing yourself with the environment and patrons
- Delivering outstanding customer service with a "customer first" mindset and fostering genuine interactions
- Keeping the workspace neat and organized for customers and colleagues
Working Hours and Schedule
The nature of retail means shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Recruitment Process
The selection process involves application submission, CV review, telephone interview, verification of right to work, in-store interview and experience trial, followed by the offer and onboarding.
