Barber

Overview

This role requires a skilled barber to work onsite at a barbershop or hairstyling salon located in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada. The position demands physical presence during working hours and involves various hair care and styling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess the condition of hair and scalp to recommend appropriate treatments.
• Manage client appointments efficiently.
• Cut and style hair adhering strictly to the client’s desires and instructions.
• Offer specialized hair and scalp treatments customized to individual needs.
• Perform shampooing of customers’ hair prior to cutting or styling.
• Shave and maintain grooming of beards and mustaches.
• Administer other hair services including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages.
• Execute haircut techniques such as cutting, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling.
• Suggest hairstyles complementary to clients’ facial features and preferences.
