Overview

This position requires on-site work at the physical location with no remote option. Candidates should possess relevant trade certifications and some experience is considered advantageous.

Education and Credentials

• Other trades certificate or diploma
• Barbering Trade Certification
• Hairstylist Trade Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients regarding various beauty care treatments
• Assess hair and scalp conditions thoroughly
• Cut and trim hair as per client's instructions or preferences
• Administer custom treatments for hair and scalp
• Shampoo clients' hair
• Trim and shave beards and mustaches
• Offer additional hair treatments including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp massages
• Apply bleaching, tints, dyes, or rinses to color or style hair
• Perform haircuts, trims, tapers, curls, waves, perms, and styling
• Recommend hairstyles suited to client’s physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist and front desk duties
• Manage inventory and order necessary supplies
• Promote and sell retail products
