Position Overview
As a Barback at Aqua Kyoto in London’s West End, you will support the bar team by replenishing stock and maintaining cleanliness and safety behind the bar. This role serves as an excellent introduction to bar operations and a foundation for building a career within the bartending profession.
Location Details
Aqua Kyoto is uniquely situated atop a former department store in central London, embodying the spirit of Tokyo’s dynamic Ginza district. The venue showcases contemporary Japanese cuisine with a diverse menu, including sushi, sashimi, robata grill, and more, delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with bartenders by ensuring the bar is consistently stocked with essential items for smooth operations.
- Maintain the bar area’s cleanliness and organization, stocking glassware, garnishes, and other necessary supplies efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of £12.71.
- Additional earnings through the venue’s Tronc system, potentially up to £1.91 per hour monthly, administered by the Tronc Master.
