Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the bakery items' quality and presentation, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Verify that merchandise is accurately priced and clearly labeled.
• Comply with food safety standards, including cold chain controls, temperature monitoring, and product rotation based on sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow sanitation and cleaning protocols rigorously.
• Execute correct procedures for ordering, clearance sales, pricing adjustments, and labeling.
• Prepare bakery items by adhering strictly to thawing and baking instructions to preserve product quality and appearance.
• Secure all product displays safely and appropriately.

Compensation

The position starts with a minimum hourly wage of 19.05 CAD.

Minimum Qualifications
