Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a General Merchandise Associate offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service skills. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer interactions by embodying the company's core values, maintaining and organizing merchandise on the sales floor, and supporting the sales activities through stocking and product management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and courteous customer service by greeting patrons warmly, assisting in product promotion, helping locate items, facilitating purchasing choices, resolving issues, and directing concerns appropriately.
• Manage assigned salesfloor sections by zoning, stocking, recovering merchandise, and relocating feature products back to their designated locations.
• Support front-end operations and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent floor coverage.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company health and safety policies, completing safety logs, and ensuring display fixtures are secure.
• Handle product protection measures, complete modular setups including flexible and new shelf caps, and perform downstocking tasks as needed.

Compensation
