Job description
Position Overview
This role supports the leadership of the front-end department by managing processes, addressing inquiries and challenges, and fostering team development through education and training. A strong emphasis is placed on delivering exemplary customer service and ensuring all tasks are effectively completed.
Key Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting customers, assisting with product promotion, helping locate merchandise, facilitating purchase choices, resolving issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Enforce safety protocols including proper lifting techniques, maintaining a clean work environment, managing emergency procedures such as evacuations and alarm codes, and preventing theft.
- Address concerns from both customers and team members, providing guidance when needed.
- Oversee front-end operations by delegating tasks, assisting where necessary, monitoring coverage, and coordinating employee breaks.
- Collaborate with People Lead to finalize shift schedules.
- Conduct area inspections alongside the Coach and team members to identify training needs, develop associates through instruction and feedback.
- Lead daily team meetings at shift commencement to communicate updates, set objectives, and monitor productivity metrics including scanning accuracy, program adherence, and service initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by following company policies, completing safety logs, and ensuring all fixtures are secure and debris-free.
- Perform assigned tasks within Workday/GTA systems and provide support to management.
- Work in partnership with the Coach and People Lead to manage associate performance, facilitate growth discussions, and assist with recruitment and hiring activities.

Additional Information
The base hourly wage for this position starts at $19.15 CAD.
