About the Role
Join The Home Depot Canada as a Lot Associate at our Airdrie location. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing customer experiences by assisting customers with loading their purchases safely into vehicles and ensuring the parking area is orderly and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers following Home Depot’s GET Model.
- Maintain adequate availability of shopping carts near the store entrance.
- Proactively interact with customers to assess their needs by asking open-ended questions about their projects and expertise level.
- Assist customers with loading and securing their merchandise safely in vehicles, applying proper loading techniques taught in Safe Loading Training.
- Keep all exits and loading areas clear, sweep debris from the front apron and lumber loading pad to uphold safety and cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to Safety and Loss Prevention standards and operate all equipment using correct safety protocols.

- Workspaces include areas with drafts and interior temperature fluctuations due to frequently open doors.
- Physical activities include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in retail settings.

This position reports directly to the Front End Supervisor.
