Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for quality and presentation of baked goods including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery section is fully replenished and ready for daily operations.
• Verify all products are appropriately labeled with accurate pricing and signage.
• Comply with food safety protocols including temperature monitoring, product rotation, use-by dates, and handling procedures.
• Follow sanitation routines to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the bakery area.
• Execute proper ordering, clearance, markdown, and labeling processes as per company guidelines.
• Prepare bakery items by adhering precisely to thawing and baking instructions to maintain product quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays ensuring safety and proper arrangement.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is a minimum of $18.05 per hour.
