Role Overview
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join the AdTech & Promotions team, focusing on backend development. The ideal candidate will excel in backend engineering, especially with Golang, and be comfortable owning large, complex, cross-functional projects amidst uncertainty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using modern technologies.
- Take initiative to lead extensive projects from conception through execution, collaborating across multiple teams.
- Navigate and organize ambiguous challenges by establishing clarity and structure.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
- Leverage AI-powered engineering workflows and tools to enhance development efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven backend software development expertise, preferably with a strong emphasis on Golang programming.
- Capability to lead complex projects independently within dynamic, unclear environments.
- Exceptional communication, planning, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, and agent-oriented workflows.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB is advantageous.
