Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and uphold the process flow for an assigned workstream while ensuring continuous smooth operations and strict compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with your Team Leader and contribute to the 'swarm' team approach to boost operational efficiency.
- Execute operational routines precisely and punctually, including managing goods inward, maintaining price accuracy, and undertaking stocktakes and inventory tasks.
- Lead and coach the team within your function, providing on-the-job training and monitoring work completion.
- Promote a safe workplace by adhering to safety protocols, reporting hazards, and prioritizing team wellbeing.
- Address and escalate process-related issues promptly and serve as Acting Store Manager during scheduled shifts.
- Engage actively in 'Better Together' initiatives to enhance team communication and cooperation.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong commitment to process excellence and ongoing personal development.
- Skillful in forging collaborative partnerships with various functions and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to effectively lead teams through delegation, progress monitoring, coaching, and motivation.
- Expertise in compliance standards relevant to the function combined with clear and effective communication abilities.
- Consistently embodies company values in behavior and work ethics.
- Able to commit to working four weekend shifts per month along with at least one evening shift each week.
Working Hours
The role follows a roster with varied shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Example shifts include 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and a Wednesday evening shift from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
