Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of all hotel television systems including their installation, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive upkeep, upgrades, and replacements, while managing inventory and storage control.
• Handle all electronic door lock systems by installing, programming, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining them, alongside managing related stock and spare parts.
• Supervise CCTV systems comprising cameras, recording devices, installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance; also managing inventory and storage of these assets.
• Manage audio-visual equipment for sound systems and meeting rooms, including projectors, displays, microphones, and conferencing technologies, ensuring installation, configuration, maintenance, and accurate inventory control.
• Provide daily operational assistance for assigned AV, security, and guest technology services to maintain high service availability and standards.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Rooms Division, Security, Procurement, and Finance departments for requirements gathering, executing installations, upgrades, and improving services.
• Administer all AV-related inventory, spare parts, assets, and storekeeper responsibilities, ensuring up-to-date stock records, asset tracking, and planning for replenishment.
• Manage vendor and third-party contractors to ensure timely maintenance, support, warranty compliance, and quality service delivery.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are conducted promptly in alignment with hotel policies and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in administration of AV and multimedia systems.
• Knowledge of TV and IPTV system operations.
• Hands-on experience with electronic door lock systems.
• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance technology management.
• Strong skills in inventory and asset management.
• Vendor and contractor relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in project coordination and thorough documentation.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years professional experience.
• Technical background supporting the above responsibilities.

Additional Information

The AV Supervisor is responsible for comprehensive management, support, installation, configuration, and control of all AV and related technology systems at Sofitel Madina, ensuring seamless hotel operation. This role includes diligent inventory tracking, vendor liaison, and close collaboration with all relevant departments.
