AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient AutoCAD Draughtsman with expertise in drafting within the MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) domain or a single discipline. The candidate will be entrusted with creating precise layouts and drawings, preparing General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), conducting quantity estimations, and managing project documentation in alignment with engineering requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MEPF layout plans and technical drawings using the AutoCAD platform.
• Create and revise 2D engineering drawings informed by design changes and on-site needs.
• Generate General Arrangement Drawings and detailed construction or shop drawings.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and estimate materials required for MEPF projects based on drawings.
• Collaborate and align drawings with architectural, structural, and additional MEP service disciplines.
• Review all drawings for accuracy in dimensions, levels, and technical specifications.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from engineers and clients into the drawing sets.
• Maintain consistency in drawing standards, including the organization of layers, blocks, and files.
• Ensure timely completion of all drawing deliverables to meet project deadlines.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to address and resolve drafting challenges.

Requirements

• Experience of 1 to 3 years in AutoCAD drafting, specifically within MEPF or a related discipline.

• Monthly Salary Range: ₹15,000 to ₹35,000
