Draftsman - Construction

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with extensive experience in the UAE construction sector to join our team based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing precise architectural, structural, and construction drawings aligned with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural, structural, and construction drawings to facilitate project execution.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical details as required by the project scope.
• Examine design drawings and specifications to ensure correctness and seamless coordination among stakeholders.
• Update and revise drawings addressing consultant, client, and site team feedback.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, technical staff, and site personnel to ensure alignment.
• Guarantee compliance of all drawings with project specifications, standards, and approved designs.
• Keep accurate records of drawing registers, revisions, and related documentation.
• Provide technical support pertaining to drawing changes and site-specific requisites.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Draftsman specifically within the UAE construction industry is essential.
• Strong command of AutoCAD for detailed drawing preparation.
• Proven background in producing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Solid understanding of architectural, structural, and construction drawings is necessary.
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM technologies would be considered advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to meet tight project deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to interact with diverse teams.

Additional Information

Experience in the UAE construction market is a mandatory requirement for this role.
