About the Role
Take charge of your own audits end-to-end, managing client communications and overseeing all audit details. From the outset, you will have responsibility for your client portfolio, controlling your workload and scheduling while supporting colleagues in managing theirs. Our client base spans various sectors, with an equal split between not-for-profit and for-profit organizations.
Team Environment
You will join a supportive and close-knit Audit team filled with opportunities to develop. The group collaborates by sharing technical insights and brainstorming different methodologies, fostering both learning and a fun atmosphere.
Working Hours and Benefits
Standard workweek is 37.5 hours; during peak periods, this can extend to 45–50 hours. Extra hours are tracked through a time-in-lieu system allowing you to accumulate leave for long breaks or opt for payout. We operate as a small local audit team tightly connected with our national office to access additional training and development programs. Our diverse clients and licensed audit status grant unique work opportunities not commonly available in small firms.

Qualifications and Skills
- Deep understanding of IFRS and IPSAS reporting standards
- Analytical mindset with a passion for details
- CA qualification or actively pursuing it, with a minimum of 4 years in a Chartered Accounting firm (New Zealand experience preferred)
- Experience mentoring and training junior team members
- Exposure to multiple industries including not-for-profit organizations
- Strong interest in commercial operations across varied businesses
- Commitment to quality, professionalism, and effective efficiency
