Role Overview

• Provide accurate and timely enterprise technical accounting services across a range of complexities.
• Take ownership of your workflow and assist in resolving complex compliance accounting and tax issues ensuring client satisfaction.
• Work within a national specialist team gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio and opportunities for accelerated learning and career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements, income tax returns, and other compliance documents for various clients spanning multiple industries and entity types.
• Deliver high-quality technical compliance work by applying accounting and tax expertise to address and resolve issues ensuring accurate client outcomes.
• Foster strong working relationships with engagement teams and contribute to efficient compliance service delivery.
• Support junior staff through coaching, sharing knowledge, and reviewing their completed work.
• Drive innovation in technical accounting and compliance service delivery while contributing to the team’s high-performance culture.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support the ongoing development of the Delivery & Data Excellence team.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant professional accounting experience.
• Pursuing or completed a tertiary Accounting degree.
• Working towards or attained CAANZ, CPA, or relevant international professional certification.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and accounting software.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
• Professionalism with a strong client-service focus.
• A collaborative team player who also works independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
