- Take ownership of functional outcomes in areas such as core accounting, Foundation Data Model, record to report, procure to pay, expenses, banking, customer accounts, assets, projects, reporting, consolidation, or close.
- Convert business needs into scalable Workday solutions, ensuring seamless integration across accounting, reporting, controls, data, security, and system integrations.
- Guide design workshops, facilitating decision-making by explaining alternatives and trade-offs, identifying risks, dependencies, and practical mitigation strategies.
- Mentor consultants, provide quality assurance and delivery oversight, and build trusted partnerships with clients and cross-functional leads.
- Support proposal development, estimates, demonstrations, client discussions, and contribute to reusable assets, methodologies, and thought leadership to advance KPMG’s Workday practice.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in implementing Workday Financial Management, with deep knowledge of one or more finance modules and a broad view of the solution dependencies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance operations and the Workday Foundation Data Model, including translating accounting, reporting, and operating models into scalable configurations.
- Experience managing modules or functional workstreams through full implementation lifecycles to deliver controlled, future-proof solutions.
- Confident facilitation of workshops, engagement with senior finance leaders, and presenting recommendations to governance bodies.
- Comprehensive insight into cross-functional dependencies spanning business processes, security, reporting, analytics, data management, integrations, and connected systems.
- Relevant Workday Financial Management certifications are preferred, although substantial hands-on experience and consulting background in complex environments are highly valued.
Diversity and Inclusion
KPMG is committed to diversity and invites candidates from varied backgrounds, including those with disabilities, mental health considerations, chronic health conditions, or neurodivergent identities. We ensure accessibility throughout our recruitment process and encourage applicants to reach out for support if needed.
