About the Role

Muthoot Homefin (India) Limited is offering an internship opportunity for the position of Audit Intern based in Chandigarh. This internship provides hands-on involvement in audit and financial procedures, offering valuable experience in the financial services sector.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in various audit processes including accounting and document handling.
• Conduct verification of financial documents such as invoices and vouchers.
• Support reconciliation tasks and perform fundamental data analysis.
• Help in the preparation of audit reports and maintain working papers.
• Detect discrepancies in financial records and collaborate with relevant teams to obtain necessary information.
• Assist in compliance verifications and other tasks related to internal audit functions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have completed graduation in any field with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Eligible graduates are from the years 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Students currently in their 5th or 6th semester are welcome to apply.
• Only freshers without prior work experience are eligible.
• Candidates should not possess an existing Provident Fund account.
• Strong communication, interpersonal capabilities, keen attention to detail, and analytical skills are required.

Compensation and Duration

• The internship duration is 6 months initially.
• A stipend of ₹14,000 per month will be provided throughout the first 6 months.
• Opportunity for internship extension up to 12 months with a monthly stipend increase to ₹18,000.
