- Lead independent validation of IRB, IFRS9, and credit decisioning models.
- Evaluate the conceptual integrity of rating philosophies, data quality, calibrations, and performance tests across various economic cycles, including state of the cycle assessments.
- Manage validation of model performance throughout the credit life cycle, covering portfolio and segment-level outcomes and considering risk-weighted assets (RWA) overlays, expert judgment, and management adjustments.
- Provide credible challenges when results deviate from expectations and risk appetite.
- Ensure validation findings impact capital usage, RWA outcomes, credit decisioning frameworks, limitations, overlays, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with model owners to ensure effective remediation of issues.
- Serve as the line 2 technical authority on credit model validation matters.
- Support regulatory reviews, detailed analyses, and supervisory interactions related to IRB models.

- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, clearly communicate complex concepts, and drive outcomes.
- Understanding of model impacts on credit decisions, capital, provisioning, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Strong written communication aptitude capable of producing comprehensive validation reports supported by robust analysis and justifications.
- Openness to and leadership in adopting AI tools for credit validation processes.
- Robust strategic thinking, resilience, independence, and a strong customer-focused attitude.
