Role Overview
As Head of Asset Allocation at JBWere within NAB, you will lead the strategic and tactical asset allocation for a prominent wealth platform. This role entails shaping portfolio positioning, currency management, and investment results, becoming a trusted advisor for both financial advisers and clients on market dynamics and investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct a high-performing team focused on strategic and tactical asset allocation across diversified portfolios.
- Formulate capital market assumptions, develop benchmark frameworks, and define currency strategies.
- Lead macroeconomic research and guide portfolio construction decisions.
- Enhance capabilities in portfolio modeling, analytics, and investment infrastructure.
- Present market insights through adviser briefings, publications, and direct client engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and capital markets.
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis and investment risk modeling.
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomic factors and their impacts on markets.
- Demonstrable leadership skills in managing and developing high-performing investment teams.
- Considerable background in portfolio management, research, or investment strategy roles.
