Associate Cargo Sin Sales Support (1-Year Contract)

Position Overview

The candidate will join the Singapore Sales team within the Cargo Division, assisting with contract management, rate filing in the iCargo system, and ensuring accurate billing processes for Unit Load Device (ULD) shipments and other exceptional cases.

Primary Duties

• Promptly and accurately perform billing operations using the iCargo platform.
• Investigate and resolve validation issues in iCargo to enable creation of Airway Bill (AWB) master records advancing to billing stages.
• Edit key data fields and fix validation errors in shipment records as needed.
• Address pre-billing inquiries including discrepancies in rates, exceptions in rate computation, and audit-related concerns.
• File spot rates timely and accurately for irregular or ad hoc shipments.
• Examine rating disagreements, gather supporting documentation, and initiate Cargo Correction Advice (CCA) requests for refunds when required.
• Distribute class rate information to all agents and track receipt acknowledgments.
• Prepare and issue AWB requests without agent specificity for charter flight operations.
• Support agent AWB requests when iCargo system fails to release AWB for agent restock purposes.
• Process booking requests swiftly, providing appropriate alternative solutions when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a diploma qualification.
• Have accounting knowledge is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with numerical data.
• Prior experience in the air cargo industry, especially within sales and accounts servicing, is beneficial.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Possess negotiation and analytical skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong service focus.
