Position Overview
Nua Healthcare Services, a leading care provider in Ireland, is seeking Assistant Support Workers to join their team in Lismore, County Waterford. The organization delivers a variety of services including Residential, Supported Living, Day Services and Community Outreach for children and adults with complex support needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in following their daily plans and routines.
- Support community engagement and participation activities.
- Help clients with education, skill-building, and achieving personalized goals.
- Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and supporting family visits.
- Comply with company policies, regulations, professional standards, and codes of practice.
- Work shifts covering all hours over a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- No formal qualifications required for Assistant Support Worker roles; necessary training is provided.
- Social Care Worker candidates must hold a Level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care, Healthcare, or a related discipline and be registered with CORU.
- Relevant life experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and genuine passion for supporting individuals.
- Possession of a full driver's license or actively working towards obtaining one.

Compensation
The frontline salary for this position ranges from 30,000 to 35,000 euros annually.
