Assistant Store Manager - Supercheap Auto Manukau

About the Role

Supercheap Auto Manukau is seeking two Assistant Store Managers to join our vibrant team. This position offers a chance to lead and nurture a team of 16 people in one of our busiest, high-traffic stores. You will partner with the Store Manager and actively engage on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and develop your team continuously. This role suits experienced Assistant Managers or Supervisors and Team Leaders ready to elevate their leadership journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations in a fast-paced retail environment with high customer footfall.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and store performance goals.
• Coach, train, and inspire the team daily to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Enforce workplace safety standards ensuring compliance with WHS policies.
• Handle visual merchandising, stock management, loss prevention, and sales reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership or management experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a passionate, performance-driven team.
• A keen interest in learning the automotive retail sector; mechanical experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organizational and operational skills including inventory control and retail merchandising.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment.
